I'd been hoping to post a bunch more of these, but Im guessing thats not gonna happen, so Ill give you one last newspost.
HellBoundHackers has always been a place of hope and inspiration for the thousands of members that come here everyday. People from all around the world come here to get to know others with similar interests. To learn about how computers work, to ask questions and gain knowledge. What makes this a crime?
HellBoundHackers is a community no different to any other.
Recently, it appears that the UK/US government hasnt been liking the idea of free-thinking individuals, namely hackers in this case. It started with them wanting to hand out ASBO equivilents without needing evidence. Now theyve gone as far as wanting to arrest mr cheese and take down hbh.
HOW MUCH LONGER ARE WE GONNA TAKE THIS?
If you care for HBH and Mr Cheese, read on.
Hear me, hellboundhackers, my plea to freedom and justice. For aslong as the internet exists, people have studied how it works with curiosity. No different to scientists or mathematicians, hackers are especially interested in one thing: Computers. What makes this a crime? Whats wrong with wanting to find out? For years, hackers have been able to learn in peace. Unless they abused their knowledge, everyone was fine with them.
Everything is changing. The UK courts can hand out the equivilent of an ASBO to suspected hackers without needing evidence of them breaking the law.
HOW IS THIS JUSTICE?
As it seems like we're about to witness, the SS can just arrest hackers, for no apparent reasons.
And the scariest part is this:
NOBODY IS GOING TO CARE.
The general public is gonna agree with the SS that a hacker like Mr Cheese should be arrested. They believe hackers are bored teenage geeks with nothing better to do than hack other peoples computers.
HOW MUCH MORE ARE WE GONNA TAKE?
Knowledge is not a crime.
SO GET OFF YOUR ARSES AND DO SOMETHING WE ARE HACKERS.

If you think hacking a few sites and taking them down saying" Long Live HBH" is gonna help now… youre very wrong. There's nothing we can do. Though I hate to admit that its Mr_cheese who has to do something. And as of right now I see that he is thinking and planning his moves carefully. He will pull out of it. Good Luck Cheese

No, hacking sites and saying llhbh is jst gonna make things worse… HellBoundHackers as it is doesnt seem to have any hope at all. But people needa keep up the spirit they had here, not jst be like "LLHBH, goodnight n goodbye".

Well my spirit is very high. But theres nothing I can do or say that can help anyone out here. In the long run … yes im helping HBH pull out. BUt as of right now we wait. HBH will remain up… maybe by a different name but I promise you it will stay up. Exacly how it is here.

my spirits are also rather high. I just lost my internet privelages for a month, come back, and see this. It's not going down, none of us would let it.

I think the best thing we can do is band together.. hbh gave us a place where intelligent people could come together to accomplish great feats.. the government is very afraid of that.. it wont do any good to lash out at them though sadly the government is too full of ignorant people and too many stupid people are electing them.. they want to scatter us to the wind.. are we going to let them?

look, Mr_Cheese got caught because he is a blackhat hacker…. remember all the sites hes hacked with HBH/SHC…. duh?? u guys think that its the end of the world because some shittly little chalenge site gets closed down because the owner doesnt know hot to use a proxy.. u guys bum suck the ass off him, personally i have been waiting for him to be taken down… stupid noob

Regardless of all that, the point is is Mr cheese in trouble for a crime or for running this site if it's the later then fine if itsthe former then we are in trouble. 'Cause it wont be too long before loads of laws infringing on rights will be made.

See, this is gay. They are going to "make an example" and turn Mr_Cheese into the bad guy. The public will really believe what the newspapers write an artical about some UK Kid this X amount.. their looking in the wrong place here.. Mr Cheese. Get to reporters before they do.. That's my best advice. That's what I'd do.. let the people here your voice first.

This site has been a home of mine on and off for nearly a year now, and its not because I wanna be a hacker, I come back for the community, good bunch of people, and I think the goverment should praise sites like these as its a safe environment to learn… what would they rather do… let people lose on the internet trying it for themselves, With ya all the way Mr_cheese…. keep your chin up bud
