damn app extra

I'm having a hard times with this one. I've already completed all other application cracking challenges.

So far I found out an input combination that passes the 02DC check at 0040269F. But still I'm very confused.

I also know that the program is just making sure that the password matches a set of rules.

But still I need to be pointed to the right direction, because I have no idea what to do next. It took me a day to get this "far". :(

Simply look where the app check your entry. (after the app ask for the password) . CMP commands. Also youll be able to see some char, but you have to understand the rules that the app is checking for. Or you can even bruteforce it.
