Ill try my best not to include any spoilers into this.

I have been working at this for a few days on and off now. I have tried opening it the APP in notepad and OllyDBG for so long. In notepad I found something that I thought was a password but it would not accept it on the app or on hbh! Is there something I am doing wrong??

It's there. A helpful way of finding strings in OllyDbg is to right click on the CPU window and click Search for –> All referenced text strings You shouldn't have too much trouble from there

Are there any key words I should be looking for?

There aren't that many lines in the found strings, just read em carefully (you will know it when you see it because its cleartext). Also I believe for this one they stored the text in a control (labels, text boxes, images etc) so it should be near one of those. Case sensitive helps :D
