ok im slowly going insane…trying to find the damn hidden directory i get that i need a special charactor and i can guess what one but still having an issue findingit any hints?

if i recall correctly; there are more than one hidden directory. Since it is hidden it will have a special character in front of it period:D

we found it but now cracking the app is making no sense, i dunno where to start…

Ok i'm stuck at cracking the damn hashes that i get from the images to get the password ..

i'm pretty sure i know what the username-UID should be although there is some missing text in hint2 for Rachel Dogwood :right:

also i read in previous threads that i could get the password form the program but i opened the program in (notepad ,Hex ,OllyDbg) couldn't find them.

Q: is the password all numbers ?

So may you please give any hints about either the Hash type or where to find the password in the program ,because that seems to be my only prob

EDIT: Or point me to a reliable Wordlist ,Cain wordlist is not working for the type i suspect in :D

You can get the password from the program. I'm using VB Decompiler Lite for this challenge and it helps a lot;)

i downloaded it but i'm not familiar with the code i can't read it ,is the pass in english i mean a word or just random text!

EDIT: argh there is no if statements there is nothing just some addresses and orders like push ,call which i couldn't understand what they actually mean HELP!
