On the Basic Challenge 4, do you need to enter a password, or just mess around a bit with the URL, or neither :s

Yeah, I am a bit stuck here :s

Umm….both. You have to, "mess with the url," to find the password, and then you have to enter that password on the main page.

It says: ERROR: htpasswd.php file not found in basic4/ Which means you will have to check basic 1,2,3,5….. to find the password.

Look at basic 1, basic 2, basic 3, basic 5 for something that would look like a password directory. Look in source;)
