Hello, i have the password hash for JTR, obtained from the pfb.*** file.

I also used the username given from the challenge description.

I have concatenated the 2 like this:

markupusername:hash in a .txt and used John the Ripper. BUT, it tells me that no password hashes were loaded.

The weird thing is that i don't think i've made a mistake, because i have used JTR before, both on linux and windows.

I have searched the forums and found a post : http://www.hellboundhackers.org/forum/john_the_ripper_-63-13102_0.html mentioning this problem, but there was no answer.

so, i hope someone can tell me what's wrong.. thnx in advance
