how can you make your self completely invisible on the internet, like going to a public wifi network, like some coffee shops have, how would you avoid them seeing your computer

also how could you make your computer completely invisible to pople or websites online

You can't be completely invisble to thers on the same network (LAN, internet) as yourself. Using a public wifi combined with a good proxy will get you quite far though ;)

You also can use TOR and a public wifi :D

But you will never get invisible. When you are good you can avoid that you could get found by police using proxy on hacked servers, which do not log you IP.

Proxy FTW! Like stated above… you can never get completely invisible.

But for example if you use a public wifi in another city and TOR. It is almost impossible to catch you if you did some "bad" things.

Obtains a laptop… untracable.

Drive around and find a nice unprotected signal… (more miles from your home the better)

Use some proxies, hack your heart out, dump the laptop.

If they find you after that i will eat my hat.

Make sure that hacks worth it tho ^^

Though unless your doing somthing highly illigal, just use a proxie.

Do not use TOR! Not only can it be beaten with java and flash plugins, there are also rogue nodes, and if you happen to pass through two or more then all of your communication is comprimised. And you never know who is listening.

Get yours self a private machine somewhere on the planet, one that does not keep logs… And use a vpn/remote desktop with good encryption. Even that should be considered a disposable asset, and if its not, your hack isnt worth the trouble.

If your taking down some noob website, you hardly need even bother with a proxy…

In Most cases a will do just fine like they said. If you want to have your wifi "signal" not picked up, buy some gear that runs on frequencies standard in another country. Not 100% foolproof, but less likely to be found by someone wanting to get into you via wifi. IF they pass through a network then it doesnt even matter because the other frequency ap would just translate to tcp/ip over a wired network. But if you really wanna be hidden… steal a internet phone and use it on your laptop. There are ways to use a phone for internet access nowadays;)

If you've got a good phone and manage to get a connection in a remote location, its going to take em longer to find ya than if your sitting at startbucks ;)

But if your doing anything bad, don't stick around rofl.

I always thought it realy easy to race a mobile phone. Because in Germany it's very easy to do that you only need the MAc or the mobile number to do that.
