OK It's here and it's ready to go,

What started out as a suggestion on IRC now became a fully operational part of HBH. We are glad to announce

Team Coding Wars

What is it? +++++++++++

  1. Constant motivation to keep on programming

  2. Another way to make them know who's the best at what they do.

How does it work? +++++++++++++++++

Teams of programmers earn points and get higher up the rank.

2 ways to get points

  1. win the challenges given out 2 weekly-monthly.
  2. Code useful stuff, release tools, solve problems,…

That means the challenge never stops, and you are constantly motivated to keep on coding.

The releases will be judged, put up in the code bank and up for download

What are the rules? ++++++++++++++++++++

  1. Everything has to be open source Those are the only kind of submissions that we will be accepting

  2. You have to take care of the communication between your team yourself, this means setting up boards, SVN servers, etc etc

How can i join? +++++++++++++++

It starts here, you make a thread explaining why people would join your team and what the standards are.

Teams can consist off 10 members max unless we get a lot off willing members, then i will move up the border.

You can create new teams by making threads in this subforum, just like webwars.

From the moment we have 4+ teams the challenges get released and it's started.

So get organizing and start coding!

To make things go smooth, use the following templates to create your teams and recruit your members.

Team name: Members: Background: Programming languages: Interests:

Name: Programming languages: Experience: Interests: Why we would benefit from you:
