Everytime I go onto winXP I get those send/don't send errors on almost every program I use… very annoying. I've scanned my PC with Hijack this and here is the log:

All of the programs are working fine, but this error still comes up. After causing one of these errors on purpose I managed to get the debug info:

AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: lameacm.acm ModVer: 0.0.9.0 Offset: 00003e3b

What should I do? Has anybody here experienced this error before?

After some googling I've found that the problem is version 0.0.9.0 of lameacm.asm… But that's been out for years now, so try update? Or get rid of it if you can

ok this is getting weird. I found lame.acm (im guessing this is the file you are talking about. and I tried to delete it, but I get an access denied error :right: what is going wrong?

Try updating it? It would appear that this appears to be the program causing this…

You won't be able to delete it as it's a modification to explorer.exe and may horribly unusable if explorer gets fucked up
