as far as i know you cant convert applications (someone correct me if im wrong though). however, you can run windows on intel macs and aslo with software like virtual pc (http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virtualpc/virtualpc.aspx)

thats just from a bit of knowledge and some quick searching. someone else might be able to help more.

you could always get something like VMWare and install windows on that onto your box and run it there. i run a few versions of linux with my XP on this box. w00t….unless your processor is a G4 architecture ( i think that is what the guy i know told me) they dont have a distro for that

i think most people have intel architecture dont they? and running a Mac on a VM is actually illegal, cos apple are gay like that. Although dont let that stop you, it just means it will be hard to get the files needed.

apple has a program called apple boot camp that you can download from their site that enables you to run windows on a mac. this is legal and supported by mac.

at least 3 responses didn't read what he said. he wants mac to windows not windows to mac

forget paralels. forget bootcamp, forget running windows on vmware,

mac on vmware is as simple as downloading the torrent called something that will appear with the keywords "tiger" and "vmware" and using vmplayer (wich is free) to play it.

you can do a weird thing that a friend of mine did which is to install osx86 (hacked version of osx to run on regular pc's just google) and then with bootcamp install windows. for anything that you still need, but as osx will run a bit slow on older computers you should probably consider running win2000 on bootcamp instead of xp

xp worked with my friend.
