Proxies

Hi, I was just wondering if the web based proxies, such as hide my ass, are secure enough to carry out simple sql hacks into vulnerable logins?

The only proxy that has effect is SSH to a box you have setuid 0 on.

I just generally notify the owner that their security is shit.

I was being really paranoid I'd use tor and a live cd. Tor is about as secure as I get, unless someone is actively tracking you it's difficult to exploit it's limitations ( I believe anyways) the live cd is just to stop data being left on your computer.

I suppose chaning your user agent to something else is possible, but the benifits must be minimal.. Just some musings.

So long as they don't know it's me what do I care? It goes without saying that if you put something unencrypted through the tor network remember someone IS watching.
