i fail
I computer repair story,
My dad asked me to take a look at his computer to see if I could fix it..
the computer was about six years old and had been acting really slow.. no surprise, and had ***suddenly ***stopped working.
after looking at the tower I noticed a piece of duct tape on the side it, i thought nothing about it till i took a look inside.. upon opening it, it was very clear what the problem was.
It seemed that the computer was such a pain in the ass that, while heavily intoxicated, he had taken his 44 spacial and shot the computer.
yeah i wish i could say that was the last time my dad shot a computer, or any other piece of technology that didn't perform up to his expectation.
things that my dad has unleashed wrath upon: Laptop, computer, lawn mower, the riding lawn mower that replaced the last one, a VCR, a DVD player (because it wouldn't read his dvd set of hogan's heroes), 2 cell phones, a Grill..
I could think of many more, as all of this was only in a 5-6 year period. I guess being in the military for 25 years you find the quickest way to fix a problem.. lmao
DeafCode wrote: me and my friend just spent the last like four hours stripping to six year old computers and trying to make one operatable computer using a soldering iron duct tape and a lot of ignorance of computer hardware. It went all well for the most part but when it came down to seeing if it worked we almost shorted out the house twice. Most of the parts were Compaq/Noblis/Intel but the fan was from a torn apart 360
just thought I'd share this and give you guys something to laugh about:D
