i have this process running, i googled it and it said it is used as a backdoor to gain remote access to my pc!!!

How can I remove this? Also, i'm guessing this is the reason my web browser keeps shutting down due to an error. But I dunno

from what i know this process is something about fax and printers.. it could be spyware or trojan but chances are its just a normal windows process..

it is. all windows use it. i thought the same thing long time ago.

yeah, but a virus could easily bed named that.

make sure it is the right size, and is running under system and whatnot.

if you have a virus scanner you should be fine, it should notice things named system files that behave strangely.

If there is more then one of that same process running, then you might want to look into it with more depth.

There is only one of them, but I was worried b/c I don't have any type of printers or other peripherals hooked up to my pc and never have.
