Wi-fi transmitter

i need some wi-fi transmitter, e.g. i plug-in the RJ-45 connector into it, then it will start transmitting, so i can get signal from notebook. Not router, only transmitter. How is this called? Thanks.

Need a little more info on what your looking for. Cause I have no Fuckin' idea what your talking about. It won't pick up your router?

no, i have a server rack with rj-45 outputs, and i need something that i can plug in into rj-45, and it can also be used as wi-fi transmitter. it will not allow me to connect the router, becouse router must be configured first and i can't configure it twice. the server is main "router" i will prefer some switch but i don't know how it is called.

Sounds like you're looking for "Wireless Access Point", but you'd need a crossover cable to connect it directly to the server's Ethernet port.
