Hey everyone normally if I have an issue with my computer i just run antivirus and I am good…Well now my 2006 Acer 3690 Laptop is not working and it is not even letting me get to where i can run my spybot search and destroy.

PLEASE HELP

I CAN'T reformat the drive cuz i need something on it.

Well, it is hard to help you fix the problem with that little detail.

but the thing is, the stuff you need is still on the hard drive you just cant 'get to it' in windows.

get a linux cd, and you could copy the files over that you need to a cd or whatever, and then reformat.
