ColdFusion 8 Installation problem

Hi i have a problem installing ColdFusion 8. It comes to "Installing Merge Module" but then it stays in progress, been like that for 8hours now, nothing happens, googled it aswell, no results :( I had version 7 before but wanted to try the new version aswell, althou when uninstalling 7 the uninstaler crashed and disappeared, so i had to manually remove it from the system. Could it be that? Thx in advance!

Oh sorry, i could only find one place where i could download CF8, and taht was from rapidshare. Althou teh problem si solved now, i had a trojan backdoor called Ciadoor on my server that disabled the CMD, and the Merge module was registered thru CMD :P
