rooting 3 help extract

I have found the location of the sam files. I also found in kevin program to extract it. Now I think I have a problem to find what is the correct syntax of the extract command. I've type help and i understand that i need to type something like it:

extract C:\Ws\\C***g\SAM

am i on the right way?

Use the search, there are some topics about rooting 3. It isn't hard, just think logic.

this is basic stuff. where is the SAM file located?

SAM is in the System 32 directory. But I have found both extract.exe and SAM I execute Extract.exe and I get an error 'msg' command not found.

This thread was from 09. And you will need something like SAMDump or something.

Sorry for the derp. I was desperate to find out how to get it to extract the hash. Sorry for bringing up a new night of the living thread.
