That would surely work!

Granted, it wasnt' blocked already. ;)

markup<meta name="keywords" content="firewall blocker block get around hide url web address change secret filter cgi proxy server cgiproxy anonymous anonimous computer flash games java ps2 n64 cheats stunts free xbox microsoft nokia mobile gadgets computer games game racing cars women php html top gear buy electronics servers hosting domains prices cheap robot artificial intelligence science news" />

Anything with "proxy avoidance" is filtered by Websense, aka the most popular web filter in public schools.

another way i found to bypass surf control is to type the site in on google and use the cache (yahoo works too). it will get you to the site, just not the most recent version

oh man my school has had a big problem with this our tech guys have really cracked down on it too. We cant use roxies and we cant even use most caches..it's horrible, but for some odd reason they havent blocked HBH yet i go on during study hall all the time, they usually block it after the first few days..i think theyre up too something the penalty in my school for "innapropriate" sites is suspension

I just wanted to tell you guys how I got past my schools security. To me, there are 2 ways.

If the website is blocked because of a word in the name, E.G. GMAIL.com contains mail, and same as hotmail… if you can get the IP address, you should be able to type it in to get it working. It doesnt always work tho.

The other way I did it was : http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr Type in the web address and then translate from any language to English. However sometimes the pictures wont show.

One thing i found also helps too is that if you know some body or are willing ot pay like 5 bucks a month get a domainname i think then set up your private proxy with a password i used to use my friends until he stopped payin for it but it did work :) cas when people at my get ahold of a proxy they use the hell out of it and it is blocked within a week or soo so if u do get a proxy dont tell it to too many people

Or just put the proxy on an https:// rather than http:// most schools don't block it

When i use a proxy, it works for a while, then the site gets blocked. I think it might be because of keywords on the site (this site, btw :)). I just used a low key proxy, hosted my Omega (you may know him off EG). He had a prozy up on his site, but I think it's down now…

I've not tried using the IP for a site (but i will), and i've been looking into exploiting the system it uses (RM Community Connect 3) for a while.

well just open notpad with view source and write

command.com

and save the file as batch.bat, or anything with the extension .bat . Open this file and it will give you a command prompt:) . REMEMBER TO DELETE THIS FILE ONCE YOU'VE FINISHED!!! if the admins see it, they will kill you;) now just type type: ping (the website you want) ex: ping www.hotmail.com that gave me: 208.172.96.250 so if you want to go there type in the url bar: http://208.172.96.250 and it work!

Why not use an SSH tunnel? http://www.buzzsurf.com/surfatwork/

O ya… through an SSL encrypted site… can schools still detect the keywords?

The only things my school blocks are setaint ports, and thats about it. You can access any site you want at my school.

(Yes I got lucky)
