I know HBH is meant to be a legal place to learn security. But an element on the site encourages to deface sites for extra points… im talking about other challenge 12:

Zarray - we're thinking of removng that challenge for that exact reason. its quite a old challenge and hbh has progessed alot since that challenge was implmented.

Well, the challenge of course as Mr_Cheese said is possibly going to be removed for this reason… but just to point out, defacing a site can be a very good thing to do… if the site is abusive/racist/etc… although it may not be legal… but then there's that saying/quote thing… can't quite remember it myself… something about A true hero is someone that knows when the only way to do true good, is to commit an act of evil… (something like that ;) )
