Is there anyway to automatically open up file(s) on startup of Windows XP?

yeah there is i don't know how. but i got a freind who made a program at school via batch to kill usefullbackground.exe (made it so you can't change the background) and he messed with the start up commands or something to automatically open up that program. thats all i know. sorry i couldn't help more.

put the file in the All Users startup folder.

or, add it to the windows/current version/run registry.

yea, there are commands to edit the registry via CLI.

cant seem to recall ony of them atm… sorry :-/
