ive just been reading the articles about email spoofing with telnet. their all the same and ive tried the all. by that i mean im using hotmail and ive tried mx1.hotmail.com, mx2.hotmail.com, mx3.hotmail.com, mx4.hotmail.com and mail.hotmail.com. every time it just says

"Could not open connection to the host, on port 25: Connect failed"

anyone know what to do?

some ISPs will not allow connections outbound to port 25. or maybe hotmail just locked down thier mail servers. anyways, telnet emails rarley work anymore. writing an email spoofing script in PHP would be your best bet.

No offense to you, you're technically just getting caught in the crossfire, but im getting very tired of all these guys who will go read a tutorial with a link and look at it and try the host and it doesn't work so they will clone a post that is washed allllll the way in the back of the deep depths of the Nth page and ask 'why isnt it working?' Well folks you should put this as a sticky because i will now explain. If you cant connect to a host, some reasons may be: [1]- You are entering the wrong port number when telnetting. The standard SMTP server port is 25 [2]- The server only allows connections from a selected IP address (thus meaning you will most likely be unable to get in) [3]- The server is down (possibly temporarily, try later) [4]- The server load is too high, and SMTP server will shutdown and restart at a certain time when all scheduled mail is to be sent through (somewhat likely) [5]- Your God or central religious and/or spiritual entity hates you. Now for a question that you will probably ask later: Why is it saying 'Relaying is denied'? or Why is it saying that the host is invalid or denied? Well, this means that you will not be able to send fake emails to the address you're trying to send it to. You will only be able to send it to an address like <someone>@<THE SMTP DOMAIN OR SERVER>.<w/e> </rant> -Psycha
