Are you using the full URL for the avatar: http://…..

For the userbars be sure to use image tags.

rofl, I cannot believe how 'new' people are so - hmm whats the word - guarded. They now expect the battery/flames and try to lessen it with a "please don't", "yes I am a noob", "there is no use in flaming me cos..", "[all other shit that is said]".

Grow some balls.

Haha best joke today xD

ANyway, make sure your image isn't too big and doesn't contain anything "CSRF-ish" in the URL, that is a lot of get variables with strange symbols. They're blocked.

No joke at all. You can show your avatar on HBH from the http://place.com only if place.com would allow you to do it. Most of freehosts show no picture. Read about hotlinking.

Nobody is a noob unless they let themselves be one. Everyone starts somewhere, and just because you want to ask a question, you don't need to feel the threat of people flaming you.. Just make sure to ask good, appropriate questions, You should read the article at http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

Long long ago I saw a quote, i don't remember who said it, but it was something like, "the only stupid question is the one not asked," or something like that… that has stuck with me for a long time, even though i have found stupid questions that are asked still.

we post to the old/dead threads only if it's really important, where HBH wouldn't be able to go on running without that information. By this nature sentences under or equal to 5 words must be abolished!!!

damn you COM ( for exploiting my educational posts ) :D:D:D:D

Good thing that what he wrote was 5+ words then :P
