MMORPG Recommendations Please

I have been playing Mu Online. Its is a very fun game. Lately I have been looking for a new 3d, free MMORPG thats also fun to play. Does anybody know any good games? Download size is no problem (4 Mbps)

Well..as for free games 3d games, the options are slim, because most of them are crap, but if you are willing to settle for great gameplay and 2d, then Ragnarok Onine is the way to go (private servers). Knight online, maplestory, Mu online etc aren't that really great at all, so if you want a much better game, get either Guild Wars (no monthly fee, but $50 at counter) or World of Warcraft (monthly fee and fee at counter.)

My brother used to play Tibia… If you don't know what 16 bit graphics mean, it's just like Super Nintendo/SNES ;)

Also Diablo II is a wonderful game, but you can be max 8 players on a server at a time.

TornCity is something you'll have to play. It is by far the best from the range out there. I'd recommend you to play my MMORPG, but it's in alpha development at the moment, so you'll have to wait a few months to see mine :P

Well, I will have to go with Planeshift. No anti-cheat programs. Use Cheat Engine. It is still in its beta but the updates are huge. The graphics could use a bit of updating though.

Well, I'm going to have a lynch mob after I voice my opinion on WoW….

It's shit. All you do is grind. full of twelve year olds that think "RP" stands for "Really pwn" and flood the roleplay servers. It's all graphics, no gameplay.

Now, EVE Online…What a game! You actually PvP for a reason. Not shitty little rewards, but to change the face of the universe. Your corporation and alliance can seize parts of a universe, set up a base and enter wars with other corps. Levelling skills is real-time, so the only grind you have to do is for cash. Downside is that the monthly fee is 20 Euros/month. Free 14-day trial, though.

write your own. make a mmorpg and play that. :)

World of Warcraft, and Diablo3 when it comes out. (not free, but still top.)

World of Warcraft is good but it does have a monthly pay, but never fear there are some real good privet servers out there. I personally used wowscape.net when I played you should try it. Only one that uses the 2.4 patch. And one last thing games and computers are not everything go outside and get some fresh air and exercise, or make your own game that is what I'm doing with a group a friends, but I still go outside for most of the day when I'm not in school not saying that you don't.

and if your looking for a real treat of a game the best once are TEXT BASED GAMES at first I thought they would be stupid but after 10 mins I was addicted.

I used to play the free to play space cowboy online (now closed), it was imo by far the best mmorpg out there. It was a flight combat game that was extremely addicting, but lots of fun (and did I mention it was free). Tons of strategy involved too. A new company is hosting it now, under the name of air rivals. Check it out (but as a warning, you will become addicted and it will eat up all of your time ;)). It is still free to play. I gave it up after becoming disillusioned with losing my high level character when the original sco went down.
