Who plays Counter Strike here?

Counter Strike really sucks badly, it's a nice (if not fairly old) concept and I guess there's skill required just as there is with other FPS games.. but it really sucks, end of, no argument.

Can you think of any reason it doesn't suck?

haha lol :p For my own, I stopped CS, it getted on my nerves…I now play The Specialist (www.specialistsmod.net)..really a great game;)

Counter Stike is a game played world-wide, with a massive community of players. I'm not just saying this because I play it either. Lots of online multiplayer games are good because of their communities. Personally I think it's a good game, because it can be extended with infinate amounts of maps, and has hours of game play, form playing against or with friends, people in your area, and someone on the other side of the world.

And, yeah. Just because you cant play a game, old or otherwise, doesn't mean you can flame it, think about what your about to post before you post it !

I'm not flaming it because I'm crap at it, I'm flaming it because it's always been badly balanced from the beginning and gets .. slow should we say, promotes camping and favours weak lone-wolf team play unless the players are very well organized.

yarrah try going into other servers that dont allow camping… And if your to lazy to do that deal with the camping!

If you dont like CS just keep quite and go to walmart or whatever store and buy another game:)

I hate CS, because as others said the gameplay gets stale, and there are much better games with much better, more active communities like with Operation Flashpoint (ofp.gamepark.cz)

I play Counter-Strike and camping is not promote at all … if your camping at the same spot people will know and kill you before you can shot a bullet by walling or just shoot you. Most of the personn that camp dont survive at the end of the round … expect if your on noob server.

Also good admin may slay you each time you camp or slap you (funnier) and some server have the mod camping meter witch tell you what is your percentage of camping and if its high (depend of the server config) it can slap or slay you or do nothing.

Heh…yeah aoe forgot to mention is the only game I play. And forget rarely, maybe once every 3 days. The newest one 3 to be exact.

I love cs 1.6. I have been playing for a bout a year now and like grind siad you never get bored of it i never really got into CSS. My clan is joining Cal(cyber amature League) hopefully this season and well i hope we do well :D.

we should all join a server and do a friendly HBH scrim =]

CS:S doesnt really suck all that, i give 'em points for the graphics and the nice details in the map. And its a really fun game to play but not if ur in a scrim.

i love css. why do people flame campers so much (not that i do it). just if you think about it, its camping IS the best stratagy… when have terrerists ever walked away from their hostages to go fight cts that are far away? i do think, however, that it is cheap in the game but thats why admins are there to prevent it.

Well CS is very popular, so you get grown into it if you have older brothers/sisters who play it or if you hang out with geeks, gamers and LAN people… It's like you drink beer or smoke cuz everyone else do :D (not saying it's poisonous or that I do :p)

Im deffinatly up for the scrim :) CS is my favorite game, I used to play it daily, but now its more like once every one or two games.

We should set a date and time for it !!! Im going on holiday this Thursday though, for 2 weeks, so i won't be able to do it if its then.

i think counter-strike sucks. the only thing ppl usuall play it is bcoz u dun have 2 think.basiclly its just search and destroy :).

I love cs, especially cz. My favorite map is office, but on warcraft-mod the best map is definitly aztec.

CS 1.6 and CS:CZ ocasionally, havnt really played latley, but fy_iceworld, fy_iceworld2k, de_dust, de_dust2, scoutzknives ;)
