this project went public yesterday:

http://www.terk.ri.cmu.edu/

it is linux based (the robot's 'brain'), wireless internet enabled and FULLY open source. you can make it look however you want, add cameras, wheels, arms, lights, LEDs and wtvr you want; and of course program it as you like in various languages like python or java.

i think this is really cool…

(hbh should have a 'news' forum section shouldn't it?)
