I am having problems with my hard drive. It is a Maxtor 51024H2. It is supposed to have a RPM speed of 7200. I am not sure if that is fast for a hard drive. Anyway, It is very buggy because it has horrible read/write speeds. I don't know if it is a power problem or something else. Please any help would be appreciated.

I forgot to add that I want the hard drive to be a secondary drive. My first drive works like a dream.
