I'm trying to help set up my brother's Dell Dimension E310 to play CoD2. However, we keep getting DirectX issues. I'm sure I've put the current drivers on it so that's no the problem. Anyone have any clue? I've googled this and found that the graphics card may be the problem….which is even more of a problem since it only has a PCIe slot and not a PCIex16 or AGP… Anyone got any advice?

What graphics card are you currently using? It sounds like a problem with an incompatible graphics chip…have you tried changing the directx renderer in the settings to an earlier version maybe?
