Does anyone know a good alternative for iBuyPower.com? I live in the UK and they only ship to US/Canada :(

I'm looking to customize something around £750 ($1480ish for you Americans)

Any ideas?

so basically you wanted a specially built laptop for your own usage,or is that it or you want a manufacturer-furbished laptop configured the way you wanted it?

And to yours3lf: there is a tutorial made by ExtremeTech magazine on building your own laptop which the parts are sold by some company (I can't quite remember the name now) but it cautions against building your own laptops unless you've had experience repairing, refurbishing and replacing laptop parts.

Hmm.. I found http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/

So just wondering if anyone's bought a laptop of here or anything or they know if it's good or not? Don't want to get ripped off or anything hahaha

I used Novatech for my last desktop built.

They gave a duff motherboard AND GFX card, but replaced without questioning, so i do recommend them aslong as you get quality hardware =]

Anybody know anything about MSI Megabook GX610 049UK?

On laptopsdirect.com

It looks okay to me, but I don't want to get it and it's crap or anything ^^
