checked the code and cant see anything wrong with it.
what would seem the most logical explanation was your authed at http://hellbound where the buddy panel would link to http://www.hellbound thus causing you to logout.
but the code doesnt suggest this happens, so not sure why. perhaps its not the buddy list and something to do with your connection / other circumstance.
