Dos commands "cd.." and "cd .." works in windows but, in the root3 app "cd.." does not work; this may confuse people.

If "cd.." with no space didn't work, the first thing I'd try next would be "cd ..". And since "cd .." is accepted in both linux and windows, whereas "cd.." is not, it's more likely that "cd .." would be more widely understood.
