hello i am using debian amd i want to program simple graphic ( drawing pixels, lines, circles, elipses, rectangles etc. ) . I know only Pascal a bit but it isn't working here on linux ( graph unit not working - previous post ). Could you recommend me programming language to program in linux which handles simple graphic which i can learn quite quickly. Thank you.

C++, Java, Python Qt for c++ Swing, JavaFX for Java Qt, wxwidgets wrapper for Python Or you may use gtk library for Gnome environment

i said easy to learn. Python looks reasonable. Could you recommend me some sites or pdf on programming graphics in Python ? Maybe also a paper book if there is no other option.
