Xbox Live Hack

Ok, nice to see you guys again. I've taken a break from hacking and now have returned for some needs in college. I remembered i had an account here so i thought i'd ask you guys what you think about this. I game almost every night on Xbox Live playing preferably CAll of Duty 4 but when this hack took place, i was playing Halo 3. I recently encountered a man who boasted of his ability to "hack" someone from his puter while playing Live. I didn't doubt this but made the mistake of laughing when he told me he could lag me offline and kill my modem. He insisted i get one of his friends phone numbers to call and apologize after it was finished to apologize and..in turn he would let me back online so long as i didn't fck with him again. As you all are probably already are guessing..yes he did it. My modem had 4 red dots and was steaming hot! I was pissed, yet it made me wonder what was out there or what he knew that i didn't. Since then, i've steered clear of your so called, "game hackers" and try not to talk sht. Maybe someone out there has heard of this program maybe or know a vulnerability over the network of online gaming. I've researched "modem killers" and i came across something called, "Apptho Modem Killer". I couldn't however find out how it worked and never downloaded it. The dude who hit me was British and since most admins on here are brits, maybe you can lend a hand. Thanks for the time and please respond positvely. If any of you have the program or know where or what it is. Fell free to pm me with the tips..

          Thanks,
            COD3

Yeah I agree with that , as I've had it done to me before too , both on xbox and msn , with similar results , unable to log back on and modem lit up like a christmas tree . Seems assholes are everywhere , a simple google search will provide links to the tools he most likely used , or similarly named virii :right:

And if you still have that phone number , why not enter it on all those porno sites and free text sites that just love to spam you once you sign up with them ?

… Then, you don't know DoS / DDoS. Go read and, once you've educated yourself on the subject, ask questions.

I still laugh when they do this to people. I got one if them to do this to me, But I logged off live before he was able to do it. So what i did then (my router has this) I went back and looked at the most recent IP to go to this box. After that, I just did a port scan, and there we are, he had all this crap on his desktop. But now whenever I see him again, I will mess with his mind by, reading off his desktop to him, then get him to quit. You may want to see if your router has this, I think mine boasted about "Now with an IP tracker, for you wireless network" or something of that sort.

Cause portscanning gives you full access to someone's desktop! Hurray for yours31f's logic, people!

  1. Logs. Every router has logs.
  2. RDP, RPC, or VNC? Or something else? Curious.

This is what happens when you lollipop-skip through the details, yours31f. It makes your post sound like suck to the readers.

No I just skipped over the exploiting the open ports part, Figured that was obvious.

yours31f wrote: No I just skipped over the exploiting the open ports part, Figured that was obvious. Not completely, no. From your description, we know it was a remote desktop program that you used. That narrows it down, but not to a single option. Anyways, I don't really care… was more curious than anything. Carry on.

You don't exploit ports, you exploit the services behind them.

Also; you didn't exploit shit, lying bastard. Do you think we'll ever buy this crap? A blind man drawing maps would make more sense than you.

So, rather than continuing to bitch about how idiotic yours3lf is.. which he doesn't help himself with when he constantly lies about his 'achievements'.

Does anyone have any tips on protecting against DDoS attacks? This being a security site and all.

Router configuration. Or some hardware firewall between your 360 and "the internet".

Spyware, one question. Why do you think you know everything about everything? Could you perform this type of hack?? I would seriously doubt it! But thanks for flaming someone on a topic i was trying to learn from…ass

Seriously, get real… a monkey with a typewriter could perform a DoS attack. Since you don't know shit about it, you have no right to call someone an ass for flaming someone as incompetent as yourself (no pun intended). If you don't like the answers you get in your thread, don't fucking post one in the first place.

Ass.

And to you Zephyr_Pure, you can go to hell as well. You shouldn't open a thread you onviously know nothing about because how helpful have you been in this..let me think..NOT at all! So stop living in your mums basement and get a life. It seems the only time you show up is when spyware has something to bitch about and you seem to add to it…ass

I didn't open the thread, genius. As for how helpful I've been… this post said it all:

I may not like Zephyr that much but I have to say that he knows aboot MOST of what he's talking aboot. Also, there's no point in messing with spyware. Spyware is cool and you prolly shouldn't piss him off. Both of the DO know what they are talking aboot.

You're Canadian? :P

Lots of people don't like me that much… I don't make any real effort to talk politely when I post. People hate that, but I only speak when I've either researched the topic sufficiently or believe strongly enough in a point (based upon my knowledge and experience) to make a strong supposition. I'm not here to sugar-coat my words for the weak. I'm not here to help a bunch of lazy babies. I'm here to support the community and, if people don't like the way I do it, that's fine. The benefits are clear and, if I was here to make friends, I would've left a long time ago. I don't believe I've made any friends in about a year or so here. … Don't care. Knowledge and the sharing of ideas is never personal; that's a weak mind's excuse. Nothing against you… I'm just not really too friendly to anyone. Sucks, but ain't gonna change.

Also, there's no point in messing with spyware. Spyware is cool and you prolly shouldn't piss him off. Both of the DO know what they are talking aboot. Thank you for the support. The goal is the same.
