i have put ubuntu on one of my comps and am trying to install nmap on it but when i download and try to install i keep getting the error that the program has the wrong architecture why is that and which one do i need???

you might wanna hget the right version for you OS. i guess any linux version of nmap will do.

im sorry i am very new to Linux …. "hget" ? command to retrieve a file right? what dose this command do?

i guess i am now looking for a crash course in linux commands…damn. :angry: lol
