KNOPPIX

I just downloaded Knoppix, and burned it onto a cd. It booted up fine, but I can't connect to the internet with it. I played around with the Internet and Networking settings, but I still couldn't figure it out. I'm using a Microsoft 54 Mbps wireless network card. And I also don't really like KDE at all, so how would I switch it to a different GUI?

Thanks for any help…

Perhaps the card isn't supported

if you really cant get knoppix to work you can always try another version. I had problems with knoppix too so i switched to Damn Small Linux (DSL)…i also don't dual boot. i use virtual pc to run it….perhaps try that.

Try ubuntu, that's pretty well supported
