Hello. I have recently downloaded Ubuntu and burned the iso by itself to a blank CD. I ran it the way I thought you do. (Restart computer Hit F12 and make computer run off of CD Rom but it didnt work. It said something along the lines of: "Hit F1 to try to reboot, or F2 to view system information". And then ubuntu wont load. Any experiences or advice?

usually, you just hit enter and it loads.

If not, then the boot is screwed on it.

i had this prob to, but i fixed it.. check the Install folder on your cd and then FLOPPY.. you must mount the root.img to a floppy disc.. just google for rawrite xp and you'll be set :D mount the image and insert it to your drive, boot your pc and there you go.

cheers, Romnous
