Why we use linux
hey sorry if this isn't the right thread, this is like the first time I have ever posted. but my question is, I want to run both linux and windows on my hard drive. if I partition my hard drive, will it erase my internet provider? because if I call them to put it back on my computer, it will take like 1-2 weeks or more before they could fix it. but I'm also thinking about just going with linux and thats it. not sure right now. but if I just go with linux will it do the same thing? like erase my internet provider? just in case this would help, I got broadband. but I don't know if that will help or not, and thank you.
