java runtime problems with ubuntu

to be able to chat (HBH chat) i need to install a java runtime plugin. so, ive downloaded the file ( .bin file) then i used the terminal:

sudo /home/niels/Desktop/filename.bin (ubuntu!!) enter pw: *********** enter some lincense terms….. u agree Y/N Y enter (now comes the problem) you need atleast 59892 kbyte of Disk Free plz free the required Disk Space and try again.

WTF ive got over 18 gig of free space!!!

so, does anyone know what im doing wrong? or do i just have to install in some other way?

Easy solution fuck Java… Download: mIRC X-Chat GAIM Or one of the other hundreds of IRC clients.

If you have ubuntu, you will already have Gaim and Xchat
