I attempted to do this with a guide in the Linux section of the articles, held Apple+s followed the instructions, i was able to change the password of the admin account using passwd but it didn't actually change, i tried logging in with the changed pass and no luck, im thinking it has to do with the root drive being read only, as it states when i first boot the mac in single user mode,, any ideas on how i would overcome this?
