I recently went to a FOSS malaysia meetup, where the main talk is about the Hex Live CD, a network security toolkit based on FreeSBIE. It has tools such as packet sniffers, metasploit, network analysis tools, network tapping tools, etc. good stuff, no stuffs like password crackers though.

There's also an installer, and it install straight as a full FreeBSD system with all the applications.

The presentation was actually quite boring. One of the creators seem to have an ego (he didn't even list some of the contributors just because he doesn't like them.), not to mention that they present in a monologue.
