can someone tell me a good site to get linux. I went to a decent site and when i booted the comp back up it wouldn't go to linux or does it have a time thing because i walked away to do something for a minute.

if you are useing a livecd just google for Linuxlive cd, if you want a full install then go to the linux home page.

well, i tried to open some linux and xp wont let me, then i restarted the comp and it still wouldnt find it, it was suse.. is suse available for a intel centrino processor? its mobile technology i'm pretty sure. do i have to download the cds for suse or just the personal thing? oh nvm, the 550 thing come up and said that no such file existed, i think that was the site i was on last night that didn't work for some reason.

as far as i remember, after Novell aquired SuSe, they stopped offering the free download.

You might try another distro. My personal favorite is a RedHat distro (Fedora). check out http://www.redhat.com for more.
