Quick questions

I have just a few questions: ok I know html, some css, and kinda learning php. What is it that I need to be learning? Also what propgrams do I need to be trying to find, that can help me? I will try hard to retain the info that I learn.

well, i think you should try to learn a programming language. C++ or VB. maybe try linux (hint hint ;)) or *bsd. just generally learn. also dont retain what you learn, though it is really fun pretending your a secret agent i dont think anyone will tie you to a table adn point a laser at your head just to learn afew hacking tricks. let others learn from you. B)

Ok, I just got vb 6 and I am starting to read up on that. I am also trying to take a C++ class at my school over the summer. Also I was wondering, can you run an operating system inside another operating system; I have Windows Xp, is there a way I can run linux in there? Like to play around with it?? Probally not, but I was just wondering.

You can but you need something like VMware to do it. VMware allows you run different operating systems within Windows XP

Ah kool, I figured something like that would be around. I need to get that, also do yall know where i can get linux ;). Also I am wanting to make hacks for this game counter strike source. I have download some, and just been messing around with them, and I would like to make my own.

I was reading on some forums, where they make these hacks (but there a-holes and dont help) they said they manly use c, delphi, asm, vb, etc..

So what should I try doing next?

Why do you want to make "hacks" for cs? also if you google you can find some good stuff on linux or start a new thread about distros ;). i have VMware; its good but very slow even when i do set the ram right up. i got it from coughlimewirecough.

Why not, I have crippled for the summer. That is what I play most of the day, and use hacks for it. Why not make my own, so I dont have to know that I didnt make that.

lol, yeah, making your own is better than using someone elses. I just really hate how everyone on cs:s accuses you of hacking and calling everyone a hack, my friend (not knowing what they ment by a hacker) mentioned that i was a hack, lol, i got banned from that perticular server 'cus of him :(.

anyway, i'm not sure how to make "hacks" but i know that you will have to make something that edits the out-going packets or something that will edit the info saved in your RAM.

Ah, that will be later. I will just learn to hack for now, then css will come. I will learn it little by litter, also where can I get linux from? I have been looking on google, and cant find anything.

Linux comes in many diffferent types called distros (distrobutions), you get ones which are command-line driven, or you get ones with a GUI. Linux is not like windows in the sense that one company distrobutes or even owns it. goto www.distrowatch.com. if you a really serious about getting linux dont just jump right in or you'll fall on your arse, before you even consider installing it on your hdd try a live cd. A live CD is linux installed on a cd and you boot from it. its a good way to test it first. a good live cd is knoppix: www.knoppix.net. Different companies distribute linux, some specialise in servers others market linux as a desktop OS. when you find some distros that interest you start a new thread so everyone can advise you on whats best and whats the best way to install it.
