PoC of a parasitic md5 cracker.

cracked.php should log the GET's ofcourse. talks back failed attempts to stop users killing window the world list supplied on each visit should be short :) I think HBH should try this out on a difficult hash. we could convert the word list to get a loop of a random string. and only talk back successful attempts silently.

say we supply each person with 1000 hash's which is done in negligable time and hbh gets 300hps (idk if that's too much) then 80% of the don't have noscript etc. that's 240000 crypts per second which is very good and distrubted over several domains is an obscene amount. I think that works out :/

uses md5.js from http://pajhome.org.uk/index.html too long to include here. http://pajhome.org.uk/crypt/md5/scripts.html

Okay, interesting…. but you're not actually proposing that this be implemented, are you?

Why not? I think a successful crack should earn you points like a lottery and EM's should be able to submit hash's. I think an experiment would be worth while at least to see how well it works. Using a js random string generator makes the whole thing much simpler. Also putting the js at the bottom of the page or delaying it's execution so it doesn't hold up the page.
