Wow.. I just had such a good idea…. Backtrack 2. It is the best in my opinion. If you dont like it try ProTech or this one.. I have used this so idk if its good or not. Anyone wanna back up if it is worth using more than backtrack?

I think you miss the point of this thread. The pen test disks have built in vunerabilites in which backtrack was used to exploit them. They give a live testing ground to learn penatration testing.

Also Backtrack 2 while the latest stable release, the relatively bug free BT3 beta is better in my opinion.

This is a pretty good idea/tool maybe some other people could set up other server images for pen testing. Maybe even a copy of this site. I know you can get linux and server 2003 for free legally. Though I don't know about hosting them for download. 700+ MBs a pop is ….
