iPhone

iPhone

Well it's been rumored for months. People have made their own prototypes in Photoshop and have googled for a lifetime for more information but Apple have finally released it.

iPhone combines three products – a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching – into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.

Just thought I would bring this up, maybe HBH could bring a post about this.

iPhone is a registerd trademark of Linksys. Looks like Mac decided to talk all this great stuff about the iPhone without registering the name. :) Linksys checked it out and registerd the name. Now they are using it for there "Internet Phone" or some shit and call it the iPhone. Kinda shitty :P But I guess Mac will learn from there mistake. Now Mac is going to eaither have to change the iPhone name or pay Linksys some big bucks to get the name. Someone told me that Mac and Linksys already have some shit going on. Mac has a contract ready or something with Linksys, not sure on all that. Maybe HBH should do a little investigating and figure out whats going on and post about it.

tbh im to really impressed. theres othing revolutionary about the phone at all, its just a combination of modern technologies. so its widescreen big deal. if i wanted a proper widescreen id go buy one mutha of a tv :D mp3 layer? w00t, what doesnt come with an mp3 player these days? touch scren, already implemented-e900 is just the first phone that springs to mind. the scrolling sensors-already in their macbooks, i know this for certain. the switching from portrait to landscape-this probably due to a similar technology, again, implemented in macbooks. its this same technology that gives us the 'smackbook'. the gprs isnt anything to get too excited about either. for anyone who has ever had sat nav, im sure youll agree, its justa gimmick really, and not much use to you if dont live in a major city or town. fancy little previews and flashy sites are well and good, but until the phone is put through its paces in the real world by common people, im not gettin excited at all.

Iphones suck ass, so do Ipods. Everyone is mindless zombies to corporations.

And what does this have to do with hacking? GG cheese.
