"Goobuntu"
Yep, thats right folks, google has finally released the name of there new upcomming OS. It will be a modded "Ubuntu" which they like to call "Goobuntu". And from what i've heard AOL is sponcering! Will they be spamming out disks like AOL disks? In my oppinion, probably. The beta of "Goobuntu" and other information is still under wraps but they said to expect a beta soon.

Please post your references. I've seen google deny these claims, and I have not seen anything saying AOL is sponsering them. Please either check your facts or post references.

i readed that they use that internal, for there employees but that they do not bring it out …

Hm.. Perhaps instead of turning into assholes, you could actually post references. If you'll read what I said, you'd realize I never said they denied anything; only that I haven't seen anything official about it.
Just show me anywhere google has released official information about it.

wow, thats the greatest moment ive seen yet. thosandtoone calling US assholes, if i recall, he was being a complete dick to the community lately.

yet, if u look at the blog ran by the open source developer for google, he states it as a maybe. http://egofood.blogspot.com/

also, just located this link: http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/01/31/1519224 it states that google is keeping it under wraps and there is a possibility of this going public.

@Mr_Cheese i am sorry he does make friends… the ons who where attacked like his posts :D ;) I need to say it… Haykuro has a good point! I said i readed something abouth goegel denieing it there wasnt a refer and it wasnt in english…. If you really wonna know it then dont flame but use a search engine to find it out by yourself and then come back with the proper links… Flaming someone is easy, but if it helps?! Be constructive not destructive its more efficient!

Haykuro, you're way too biased against me to actually be objective once in a while. Also, you should probably think again that it was Grind that 'admin'd me, with limited permissions- restricted to the front page news. The fact that you'd bring up something so out there just shows how much you just dislike me, as opposed to remaining objective.
Again, I'm asking for an official link from google, not just the offsite blog of a developer.
