Whilst we were down, we got a bit intense with developing. Here is a list of what has been done. Some of the things in this list you may see 1/2 uploaded, or missing. We have developed them, over the course of tonight and tommorow we will integrate them with HBH and they'll be available for you. Ideally HBH could be done with one further day of development offline, however people started to miss this lovely shade of green, so we put HBH back online.

- You are now able to view HBH from your mobile phone

Grindordie has developed a seperate system for HBH that is only for mobile phones. We know the cost of using a mobile phone for internet is expensive, so we've cut out images to save you bandwidth costs. we've also simplified the layout so its easier for PDA's and PSP's. Login system works, so you are able to read your messages, send PM's, use the shoutbox and read latest news updates.

- Exclusive members now have a HBH based instant messaging system

We have developed a online based chat system for Exclusive members, built with one of the latest released web languages. Its all based on HBH and you have full control on who can message you. There may be a chance in near future of adding SSL, so exclusive members can benefit from real time encyrpted chat with fellow HBH members.

- Phone payment system setup for exclusive members and donations

This requires alot of integration, so please wait for a tiny bit so I can get this setup. Basically you sign up for your mobile phone account at onebip.com. Register your mobile phone with them, and then on HBH you simply click on the "buy 1 months membership", enter in your mobile phone number, and onebip.com handles the transactions and sends you a confirmation text. Your account is then automatically upgraded with membership. I know many of you felt left out because you didnt have credit cards, well now its as simple as just entering your mobile phone number to get exclusive membership.

- 128bit dedicated hbh SSL certificate

We now have a SSL certificate, which means you can access HBH on https. some pages wont be secured due to images etc, but important pages such as register and edit profile, all will soon be using SSL, so any traffic between your computer and this server will be encyrpted. A nice bit of added security to give you peace of mind.

- Extra pages have been added

Recently added a few pages which still need work on, such as "have you been hacked", "media" and "schools" pages. The text isnt complete and its lacking images, but this will be updated soon. We're also doing a few design changes here and there. Nothing major, just a small banner addition and extra images around the site. Maybe it look more presentable and professional.

- Spam protection

We have developed a anti spam system so now the only people who can post on HBH are human beings sat at their computer manually typing in the post. This will hopefully get rid of these lame spam attacks that happened occasionally. If they are able to spend hours trying to bypass our spam protection, im sure i can manage spending 2 seconds doing 1 mysql query to delete all their spam posts. Seems a much fairer ratio.

So thats development info finished….. few other things:

1. Grindordie is back! If you guys remember last year he played a crucial role in the development and management of HBH. He took a well deserved break and now he is back and continuing his development role here at HBH. Everyone give a big warm welcome to grindordie.

2. I'm taking a short break from HBH for now. Very tiring having to run around get backups, restore HBH every week, delegate work, constant development, handling several PM's and emails every day etc etc. So im taking a break for a bit which will tie in with my holiday im really looking forward to. Bouncer will be taking my place whilst im gone, so be nice and dont cause any trouble… or bouncer will actually eat you. If you know bouncer, im sure your welcome his extra presence here.

So there we have it, been a hectic few days, backups took longer to arrive than was predicted due to bloody UK postal strikes!!! gah!
