This news post is about a HostEasier and their service. It is not often i dedicate a whole news post to the service of a certain company, however this is quite a serious issue. This should warning to anyone who is intending to use their services in the future. Out of all the hosts HBH has leap frogged to, HostEasier.com is by far the worst and most disgusting hosting service i have worked with.

This news post is about a HostEasier and their service. This should warning to anyone who is intending to use their services in the future. Out of all the hosts HBH has leap frogged to, HostEasier.com is by far the worst and most disgusting hosting service i have worked with.
Before i signed up to their hosting service, i made sure to read their terms of service, and after seeing HBH breached none of their ToS, i thought it would be wise to double check with the head of the company. Which i did and i got a reply saying HBH was fine to be hosted within their company.
One week later after i had paid for my hosting and uploaded all my files, a 17yr boy complains to the hosts with a very poorely structed and completely incorrect complaint letter, which they had the cheek to take serioulsy. Im speechless at how they could actually take it serioulsy. So after they took the complaint serioulsy, there were nice enough to terminate HBH without even contacting me. Termination means completely deleteing. They didnt even suspend the account and let me retrieve backups, they deleted every trace of HBH including my backups, which has features i spent 2 days coding. Now i have to code those features all over again, which just increases my allready very busy time table.
After several support tickets, many left unreplied, i was then told my account was terminated and i would not recieve a refund or my backups.
I asked for a $10 refund, to cover the cost of the hosting i paid for + loss of income due to downtime. After several follow up emails, i was refunded only $5.
I was then told to supply my phone number so a member of staff could contact me and we could discuss this issue over the phone in a mature manner. I of course supplied my phone number beacuse i am eager to get this issue resolved. I then recieve a reply saying, instead of a member of staff phoning me, they have given my details to a Secret Service Agent who will be contacting me later today.
How fucking disgusting is this service. Not only do they terminate without reason or client contact, they have to con a clients phone number to hand it to the secret service.
I hope this serves as a warning to anyone considering hosting. If you want financial trouble and extremely poor and slow support personal, then i suggest you stay clear of hosteasier.com

Ditto. Hopefully they will just speak to you to get more information on the host and the child who wrote the complaint letter because they don't have the IQ to do it themselves ^^

Secret service agent? How about we e-mail hosteasier and harass them about terminating HBH

There doesn't seem to be much choice…as much as I hate it, there really needs to be a big banner on the tope of the site…"100% legal." As for the Secret Service, chances are they won't call you, you may get a call from the fbi or cia, or even local police because the secret service doesn't deal with foriegn problems unless they are a direct threat…just stay calm and talk through it, citing as many possible laws that will help.

i can ensure you that the SS have got involved already. so far it seems to be a misunderstanding of HBH's intentions, which i can easily correct. This has nothing to do with the HBH community and everyone is still safe to use the site. this is a issue they have only with me. and appanretly they are the ones who have the most up to date backup of HBH, as the hosts were nice enough to give them the backups and not me. so i shall see if i can obtain the backups.

At least there is a chance of getting the backups. The dipshits need a full page with 100% legal written across it before HBH actually loads. Why do people have to be so antihacker, i blame the media. Hackers secure sites for people, without them skiddies would be coming along and defaceing every other site they went to.

Guys, time for a wake up call. Just SAYING a community is legal isn't enough. No one's ever really enforced things on HBH. People ask for help hacking real sites, people DO hack real sites and discuss it here occasionally, there is plenty of talk of warez and piracy..
Sorry guys, it's not a legal community with current moderation.

I have to agree with thousandtoone - New admins were appointed and they should be monitoring all of the information held on this site for legal flaws.

Ok, reading this makes me really sick! Come one, the SS? This is tipical of a bloody movie… Mr_Cheese, I do not have any way to give finacial supoprt, at least for now, but believe I will click a couple of times per day on the bloody ads… I just wish I could be more active. Stay strong.
