I saw the last Article on hiding files. So I thought, I would let you all in on my way of hiding secret files. This is very easy and nice and secure way to hide your files. create a folder and call it control panel. now move all the files that you want to secure from prying eyes into that folder. open a command window and rename the control panel folder you just created to control panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} "at the prompt type : ren control panel control panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} and hit enter"

now when you click on your folder still named control panel in windows. The only thing it will do is open the control panel.

To recover your files rename the control panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} back to control panel "ren control panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} control panel and hit enter"

Now when you open the folder control panel there is all your files ready to veiw only by you. This works on all windows versions.

cool :D i feel too lazy to test but can the files still be found by search ?

To answer your comment no the search will not find any file in this folder even if you try to explore the folder the control panel will open

I rate Average. Informative, but not detailed. And poor structure.

Once again, I say that the article's are becoming more like forum posts.
