this is meant to be short sweet and to the point, so let's go.
if you don't have it already then download user agent switcher for firefox here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59 and then restart firefox
Step 1: Go to this page - http://techpatterns.com/downloads/firefox/useragent_switcher_agents.txt and save page as whateveryoulike.xml
Step 2: On the firefox menu go to tools - user agent switcher - options - options
Step 3: On the left hand side click user agents, then click import, choose the xml file that you just downloaded and press OK. Press OK again and you're done!
congratulations, you now have an obscene amount of user agents to choose from. go to tools - user agent switcher and choose what you want to be ;)

I wouldn't rate it poor because it is cool but yes it doesn't belong here. He probably put it as an article so it wouldn't get lost like everything in the forum does.

Maybe if User Agents were described more and explained in detail as to there importance than this would be a good article.

i found this somewhat useful. maybe "interesting" would be a better word, ive never actually found a user agent switcher very helpful outside of challenges. rated good.

@K_I_N_G - Your reason is actually correct, material like this usually disappears in a day on the forums, but you are right it is to short, and i probably should've explained user agents. So i'll try to consider things like that for future articles
@DigitalFire - One of my favorite uses for the switcher is to bypass the need to be a member to read forum posts on other sites:ninja:
