How to make your soda into a rocket
ghost | 5362 Reads | Hi this is a funny way of using a 1,5 liter soda bottle :D
What you need: -A soda bottle (with soda in in) -Mints (Like mentos) -Good legs to run with xD
First you open the bottle and drink a glass so you dont waste it all, then take all the mints pop em into the bottle, put on the cork and shake it if you have time, then run and look at it when it shoots up a big ray of soda. Btw i know many ppl know this but its funny anyway. Party trick:P

It works to a point. The amount of carbonation affects how it reacts. To get the best shoot off it is best to put the mentos in as soon as you take the cap off and it works better (at least in my experiance) with brand name sodas cause they use more carbonation than generic stuff from kroger, cubs, publix, albertsons ect… Just my exp though

me and my bro and a friend were the first to post a video (and with the idea possibly) to contain the pressure within the bottle and attempt to blow it up, instead we got a rocket ship.

lol yeah i think also those mints that dissolve work good too…ever drank a bunch of pop with a packet of poprocks at the same time? HURTS LIKE HELL… Nice article tho:P

i saw the video also one time i did that and it shot like that high but i didnt even use mints,also u were using a mortal combat sound track,exept at the end it was snoop dogg it was cool.B)

ahhh it didint work lol when I put the mentos in it exploded with just one lol and then the orhter bottle I put like 10 and nothing happened :(

if you use a smaller bottle and use more mints AND turn the bottle on its cork A.N.D give it legs to stand on, you can actually get the bottle bit to fly and not the cork. it worked for me! ( make sure you drink up atleast 1/4 of the soda or it will be too heavy.;)
